The Service Improvement of Hotel Centro Associated with Changeover to a Higher Hotel Classification Degree

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the customer´s satisfaction of the Hotel Centro and with the process of implementation of the official standard classification of the accommodation facilities in the Czech republic system with an aim to obtain a 4**** class in a category „Hotel“. It assesses a current phase and then on the basis of observed shortages and classification requirements suggest desirable improvements and measures. It shows the process of obtaining the classification certificate.

The master’s thesis analyses a selected company operating in the tourism industry. The company has customers from more than five countries and specialises in offering hotel services in the Giant Mountains, especially for Czech, Polish and German clients. The result of this thesis is an international marketing strategy that is in line with current trends in the hotel industry. The secondary objective is to segment current and potential customers by using Google Analytics when preparing international marketing strategy.

Analýza marketingových nástrojů vybraného hotelu

Tématické zaměření práce je marketing hotelu. Práce se zabývá konkrétním malým hotelem, který se aktuálně potýká s odlivem zákazníků a poklesem tržeb. Cílem práce je nejprve analýza konkurenční pozice hotelu a poté analýza marketingového mixu zkoumaného hotelu, autor se tak snaží nalézt možné příčiny nepříznivého stavu. Použití nástrojů marketingového mixu hodnotí a navrhuje možné změny, které by hotelu pomohly oživit zájem zákazníků o jeho služby.
